🦋🌹🎂Today my baby, Sherilla, turns 50. My heart can hardly believe it. From the moment I held her in my arms as a young mother, she has been one of my greatest blessings. Watching her grow into the woman she is today has been one of the proudest joys of my life. Please join me in wishing my daughter Sherilla a beautiful, blessed, and joyful 50th birthday. It is about saying, “You will not have control over my heart.” I grew up in the Caribbean where strength was survival. I learned to stand firm, to fight when necessary, and to protect myself. But I also learned something deeper over time. Love does not mean accepting disrespect. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting. It means releasing. People will do you wrong. Love them anyway.
